Incwadi ethinta abesifazane nezingqinamba ababhekana nazo

Le ncwadi ixoxa ngezindaba zocansi zabesifazane base-Afrika kusukela ekuhlukunyezweni ngokocansi, ukuya ebudlelwaneni bocansi nalabo abakhubazekile, nalabo abazama ukujabulela ucansi ngemuva kokulimala kwezitho zabo zangasese.

Umcabango wale ncwadi wavela ohambweni lwasebhishi e-Ghana lapho umbhali olwela amalungelo abantu besifazane kanye uNana Darkoa Sekyiamah eqaphela ukuthi izingxoxo phakathi kwabangane bakhe bezimayelana nocansi.

Ngokokuqala ngqa empilweni yakhe uSekyiamah uthi uzwa sengathi abesifazane base-Afrika sebeyakwazi ukukhuluma ngokukhululeka nangobuqotho mayelana nokuya ocansini, izifiso zabo kanye nemicabango yabo.

Kamuva nje wasungula ikhasi lapho abesifazane bekhuluma khona ngezinto ezenzeka emagumbini abo okulala. 

Kusukela e-Egypt, i-Senegal i-Cameroon kuya e-Zimbabwe le ncwadi inezindaba zabantu besifazane abangu-32 abaxoxa izindaba zokunukubezwa ngokocansi, beyingxenye yemiphakathi enezixhwanguxhwangu zabantu, abanye bencamela impilo yobukhazikhazi kanti abanye bakhetha ukushiya ubudlelwano obungasenamsebenzi kubo.

USekyiamah onoba lwakhe olutholakala encwadini uthe lezi zindaba zimenze waqonda ukuhlangana kwenkolo nobumnandi ezindaweni ezahlukene zezwe.

Omunye wabesifazane onendaba yakhe encwadini ongowokuzalwa e-Zimbabwe oneminyaka engu-32 ubudala  uTafadzwa ukhuluma ngokunukubezwa ngokocansi, nokubandakanyeka ocansini  nabantu abahlukene. 

Esemncane unina wayemtshela ukuthi angadlali nabafana kungenjalo uzokhulelwa.

“Ngangingazi ngempela noma ngangingaqondi ukuthi kungani kungafanele ngidlale nabafana kodwa sasidlala umdlalo wokuba umama nobaba nabafana.”

Ngesikhathi uTafadzwa eseneminyaka engu-13 wayeselala nabafana abadadlana kunaye ngeminyaka embalwa.

“Ngineminyaka engu-15 ngangilala nabesilisa abadala kunami ngeminyaka engushumi, abashadile, abaphathi, oNgqongqoshe, kanye namasosha.

“Ngesikhathi ngiba neminyaka engu-17 ngase ngiluthanda  kakhulu ucansi. Ngaqala ngazisiza mina, okuyindlela engakhula ngayo ngizethemba ngokocansi,” kokubhakwa kwe ncwadi.

Le ncwadi isisatshalaliswe emazweni ayikhulu kusukela yaqala ukushicilelwa e-Britain nyakenye naseMelika ngoNdasa.

Engxoxweni uSekyiamah uthe abesifazane base-Afrika bavame ukubonakala njengabantu abathulayo, abanempilo edabukisayo, abakhulelwa njalo, abaphethwe i-HIV ne-AIDS, futhi abacwiywa izitho zomzimba.

“Sihlale sivezwa ngezindlela ezimbi kakhulu,” kusho uSekyiamah.

Utshele i-New York Times ukuthi unethemba lokuthi le ncwadi izosiza abesifazane ukuthi bathole umphakathi ozobasekela uqonde izidingo zabo futhi ubasize bakwazi ukubhekana nezimo ezinzima.

“Kimina umphakathi uhlala uyisixazululo,” kusho uSekyiamah othe umsebenzi wakhe ugqugquzelwa ezinye izishoshovu ze-Pan-African kanye nabesifazane okubalwa uSylvia Tamale, uHakima Abbas, uSokari Ekine noTiffany Kagure Mugo.

Abafundi bathe le ncwadi izosiza abesifazane ukuthi bathole imiphakathi ezobaseka, babhekane nezingqinamba esezishintshe izimpilo zabo.
